We know how important it is for our students to feel connected to the place they are studying yoga. That's why our curriculum includes spiritual, educational, and relaxing trips to Yogic Caves, the sacred river Ganges, the Himalayan mountain, local sightseeing and much more!
In the Rishikesh Yoga Course, we study deeply how food engages all within our body, mind, and emotions. Yoga divides food into three categories based on its influence in body, mind, and emotions:
🏶 Sattvic Food : Nourishing, pure, and energizing, it gives clarity, enthusiasm, and a serene, balanced mind.
🏶 Rajasic Food : Stimulating and often linked to restlessness, it increases activity and mental agitation.
🏶 Tamasic Food : Heavy and dull, it causes sluggishness and dizziness to the mind.
Understanding the kinds of food has taught students to be conscious about what they eat, which helps them improve their practices in yoga.
At Rishikesh Yoga Course, accommodations blend Indian tradition with modern comforts, providing a home-like atmosphere for students. Spaced out and tucked in nature's arms, spacious yoga halls will be highly conducive to focused learning. Situated close to the revered Ganga River, serenity and peacefulness provide an ideal ambience for meditation and spiritual practices-all of which contribute to a favorable atmosphere for physical, mental, as well as emotional well-being. The soothing surroundings thus allow harmonious body, mind, and soul to weave together.
Any guest regardless of levels of experience in yoga. There is no beginner or advanced practitioner; our program has been made accessible to all, therefore, to be transformed for the benefit of all participants.
Fee The price includes staying here, all yoga and meditation practice sessions, guided outings, vegetarian meals, and workshops. Other personal expenses for your time here will include travel costs and any activities you would like to participate in while you are at the retreat.
Comfortable yoga clothes/ private yoga mat/ water bottle/ sunblock/ toatories and any personal grooming items for your stay. You are also invited to bring a journal for self-insight.
Nourishing vegetarian food, prepared on site from fresh locally sourced produce and ingredients, always prepared with love, to enhance your yoga practice and nourish your body. Special diets can be catered for if you just let us know before your stay.
Rishikesh is accessible by road and rail; the nearest airport is located at Dehradun, Jolly Grant Airport, that is 20 km away from our place.
